According to the public relations of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the social mystery film *Gambler* – a Farabi Cinema Foundation production, produced by Sajjad Nasrollahi – will have its world premiere in North Macedonia after being introduced at the 2026 Cannes Film Market.  
International distribution of *Gambler* is handled by the International Department of the Farabi Cinema Foundation.  
The film tells the story of a cyberattack on one of the country’s banks and is set to compete in North Macedonia against works from around the world.  
The “Beyond the Lake” International Film Festival, which focuses on the cinema of the Balkan and Mediterranean regions, annually hosts selected films from world cinema in North Macedonia.  
The social mystery film *Gambler* is Mohsen Bahari’s first cinematic experience; it screened at the Fajr Film Festival, where it won the Crystal Simorgh for Best First Director and received nominations for five Crystal Simorgh awards.  
The cast includes Kourosh Tahami, Armin Rahimiian, Shabnam Ghorbani, Amir Norouzi, Roshan Rostampour, and Emad Emami. The synopsis reads: One of the country’s banks is hit by a cyberattack – an incident that leads a connoisseur agent to suspect one of the bank’s programmers. The struggle to uncover the truth and ensure national security begins from there.
