According to the public relations of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the Western Gates Film Festival will host two films "Mehran" and "Hook" in its fifth edition.
The films "Mehran" by Ruqiye Tawakoli and produced by Mohammad Pirhadi and "Hook" directed by Hossein Rigi and produced by Ali Ashtianipour will be screened in the special screenings section of this event.
The movie "Mehran" is the story of a boy named "Mehran" in the sixties, who became the host of a war-torn family from the city of Mehran.
"Hook" is the story of two brothers from Sistan and Baluchistan who enter the field of boxing to realize their dreams and face many difficulties along the way.
The mentioned festival will be held from July 5th to 7th, in the city of Pskov in western Russia.
Last year, the movie "No Prior Appointment" directed by Behrouz Shoeibi was shown on the silver screen of this festival.
