According to the public relations of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the movie "Sea Boys" directed by Afshin Hashemi and one of the productions of Farabi Cinema Foundation participated in the first edition of the Kerala Children's Film Festival in India.
Afshin Hashmi's latest work in his 14th international appearance was shown to the public from September 8th to 10th of this year, at the Kerala Children's Festival in India.
In this movie, Mona Farjad starred alongside two teenagers from the north and south of the country, Yasin Habibpour and Monib Bozorgzadeh, along with Payam Amir Abdulhian, Mehnoosh Sheikhi, Hassan Khaldoun, Ali Bahri, Aysan Haddad and Afshin Hashemi.
Also, the movie "Children of the Sky" by Majid Majidi was screened in the classic films section of the festival at the cinemas that hosted this event.
The purpose of the three-day event is to address issues such as the environment, climate change, the development of rural areas, as well as the diversity of ethnic groups, and human rights.
"Sea Boys" is Afshin Hashemi's sixth film, which was made in collaboration with Hossein Jami, it is produced by Behrouz Nishan, and has reached the production stage with the participation of Farabi Cinema Foundation.
