According to the PR department  of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the film WOLF CUBS OF APPLE VALLEY directed by Fereydoun Najafi and produced by Majid Barzegar will have  its latest international appearance in the children's panorama section of the 39th BUFF Malmö Film Festival in Sweden.

It is noteworthy mentioning that the  film was awarded the Golden Butterfly for Best Film,  Best Screenplay, Best Acting and  the Special Jury Award from the 33rd International Film Festival for Children & Youth of Isfahan. Moreover, prior to that it was screened in the Panorama section of the the 26th SCHLINGELChildren and Adolescents Festival in Germany and it was very well-recieved by the audience. 

WOLF CUBS OF APPLE VALLEY  is the story of Ashu, a young 11 year old Bakhtiari boy whose father is a fugitive murderer. To save his life from the threat of the victim's tribe and family, he is forced to leave his village and start an adventurous journey dressed as a girl.  At the end of the journey, he is confronted with new facts about his mother - who was said to be dead - and his father's innocence. 

It is worth mentioning that the 39th Swedish BUFF Malmö Film Festival will be held from March 19 to 25, 2022.
