According to the PR department of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the film THE CONTRARY ROUTE  written, directed and produced by Abolfazl Jalili and a product of Farabi Cinema Foundation will have its latest international presence in a special screening at the 11th Beijing Film Festival  to be held from 14 to 21 August 2021 in the capital of China. 

This film was recently awarded Best Director and Best Child Actor awards in the main competition section of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival. 

THE CONTRARY ROUTE deals with the issues and dreams of adolescents and the challenges young filmmakers face when entering the world of cinema. 

Pooyan Shokri, Mahdiyar Asghari, Masoud Naji, Mohammad Hossein Pakdaman, Faezeh Yousefi, Abbas Taghi Abadi, Fahimeh Momeni, Sam Hasani Pamsari, Helia Hasanzadeh, Hossein Mahroughi, Koroush Khazei, Milad Navabi and... are credited as part of the  main cast of this film and other key crew members include Hossein Navabi (sound-recordist), Maryam Ashrafi (production manager), Mohammad Moradi Fakhr (assistant DOP), Hossein Nabavi and Milad Jalili (assistant director), and Soheil Sedeghi (production assistant).
