According to the PR department of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, H.E Mr. Artashes Tumanyan visited Farabi Cinema Foundation and met with Mr. Alireza Tabesh, the MD of Farabi Cinema Foundation.
According to this news, during the meeting, the managing director of Farabi Cinema Foundation welcomed the Ambassador of Armenia and his accompanying delegation and reviewed the history of cinematic relations between the National Cinema Center of Armenia and Farabi Cinema Foundation.

By enumerating the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the cinematic institutions of the two countries, Alireza Tabesh referred to the film YEVA as the first successful experience of joint production between the two countries under this Memorandum, which has been very well-received internationally. He also mentioned that it could be a stepping stone for future collaborations and productions.
Tumanyan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Tehran, referred to the multifaceted nature of Iran-Armenia relations, and pointed to the good relations between the two governments based on friendly and deep relations between the two nations.

He also talked about the important cultural and artistic events of his country, such as the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival and emphasized on continued cooperation and greater presence of filmmakers and specialized institutions of Iranian cinema in this important artistic event.
"Yaralian", the attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, "Shirkhani", Expert of the Center for Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Raed Faridzadeh", Head of International Affairs FCF, and "Simon Simonian", Director of Film Archive also attended the meeting.
It is worth mentioning that in order to expand cinematic cooperation between Iran and Armenia, Farabi Cinema Foundation and the National Cinema Center of Armenia signed a memorandum of understanding in 2017 which was extended for three years in February 2020.
