According to the PR department of Farabi Cinema Foundation, the film CONTRARY ROUTE directed by Abolfazl Jalili and produced by Farabi Cinema Foundation, has been selected for the main competition section of Shanghai International Film Festival to be held from June 11 to 20, 2021 in Shanghai, China.

CONTRARY ROUTE is about teenagers, social issues related to this group and their daily life. Moreover, it depicts some of the challenges young Iranian filmmakers face when entering today's contemporary world of cinema.
