By decree of the Head of the Cinema Organization of Iran, Hamed Jafari has been appointed as the Director of the 37th International Film Festival for Children and Youth.  

In his first appointment, the managing director of Farabi Cinema Foundation, Hamed Jafari, appointed Mohammad Reza Tashakori as “Head of the International Affairs and Foreign Marketing Development.”

Three films "Sima's Unfinished Story", "Hook" and "Captain" produced by Farabi Cinema Foundation will be screened at the Chennai International Film Festival in India.

The “4th China Film Week” will be held in Iran from Sep 23rd to 27th, with the screening of 5 watch-worthy films from the cinema of China.

Among the three final candidates, the movie "In The Arms Of The Tree" was unanimously approved to be nominated as the representative of the cinema of Iran to the Academy of Oscars 2025.
