According to the Farabi public relations, the 22nd edition of the Chennai Film Festival in India will host three films: "Sima's Unfinished Story" directed by Alireza Samadi and produced by Majid Rezabala, "Hook" directed by Hossein Rigi and produced by Ali Ashtianipour, and "Captain" directed by Mohammad Hamzei and produced by Saber Emami.
The film "Sima's Unfinished Story" will be screened in the competition section, and the films "Hook" and "Captain" will also be screened in the World Cinema section of the 22nd edition of the Chennai Film Festival.
The 22nd edition of the Chennai Film Festival in India will be held from December 12 to 19, 2024.
Last year, Farabi Cinema Foundation participated in the event with two films, "Captain" and "The Leather Coat", and this year, due to the positive reception and feedback of the film "Captain", it was decided that this film will once again be included in the list of selected films of the festival. It is worth noting that the film "Sima's Unfinished Story" will be the opening film of this cinematic event.
