Director’s Profile:
Born on April 4, 1979 in Tehran, Saeed Malekan is a producer and a make-up artist. He graduated from the Radio and Television Academy of Fine Arts. He started his professional career in cinema in 1994, while studying, in the make-up group of the First Channel of Sima under the supervision of Morteza Ardestani. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a make-up artist with Bijan Mohtasham, and since then he has been working independently in the field of cinema and television. DAY ZERO is his debut feature film as a director.
