Synopsis:
Abdou is a Yemeni war-torn boy whose half dead body is saved by an Iranian captain in the open waters. After entering Iran, he is entrusted to an Iranian family by the captain. Once again, Abdou experiences the sweet taste of family and peace. Arezou, the daughter of the family, immerses him in her safety by her pure love and affection. This creates a strong attachment between them until Arezou has an accident…

Born in 1979 in Tehran, Mojgan Bayat holds an MA degree in cinema. She has made several short films. BORN OF THE EARTH is her debut feature film.
