Director’s Profile (Hesam Eslami):
Born in 1982 in Ahwaz, Hesam Eslami got his BFA and MA in cinema from Tehran University of Art. Since 2009 he started to work as producer and director. Juvenile offenders and social damages are the main themes of his work. He is also the editor of the acclaimed feature film, MOURNING (2011). In 2017 he made his first feature length documentary, "20th Circuit Suspects" awarded the best film prize in 35th Fajr Film Festival and also selected and screened in 2017 Hot Docs Canada among several other festivals.
