Reviewing my previous experiences in children’s films and studying the problems in distribution and release of these films, I was determined to make a film, focusing on the needs of children to entertaining cinema, logical fantasies and some concerns for their potential abilities. I intended to find an answer for the rigid audiences insisting on the failures of entertaining films. Analyzing the successful children’s films, seen by the old and the youth all through the world, I made FORMULA 13, relying on suspenseful plots and adventures, fast-paced narrative and powerful structure rather than depicting our society today.
