A filmmaker comes back to his home town. Visiting his old neighborhood reminds him of his childhood memories. The way he got acquainted with cinema and loved it ever since. He decides to make a film about these nostalgic moments. During his shooting a strange yet familiar girl comes to the set and accepts to play the main role. She has a secret in her heart which be revealed during filming. A secret that makes the real life of the filmmaker worth watching.
Born in Esfahan in1951, Gholamreza Azadi graduated from the college of Film and Television. In 1978, he traveled to the U.S and studied cinematography and visual arts at USC on a grant he had received from the university. He graduated in 1982, returned home and began teaching at higher educational institutions such as college of Television and Soureh University of Art. Azadi collaborated as director of photography on over 50 films. He set up the Magic Lantern Company to produce films, using the latest special effects techniques. He has been member of CIFEJ.
He made his debut film, MY TRIBE, in 2012.
Life is like a movie. Whether it's short or long it begins somewhere and ends unexpectedly somewhere else. We ought to watch all this involuntarily.
