Director's View

Kelileh & Demneh belongs to the time of the invasion of the Sasanian Empire to India. It was brought to Iran through the Indian court as a series of handwritten books. The Indian kings wanted to educate their prince and princesses from their early teenage years about political and social issues, helping them distinguish the good and the evil through the language of the animals. In today’s contemporary era, with the growing environmental and social problems, narration through the language of animals used in children films can serve as an effective tool to educate them.
